FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!
Where do we deliver?
We are based in the Yarra Valley but we deliver to most Melbourne metro areas. Please contact us if you are unsure or cannot see your preferred area before making an order. We can deliver to outer suburbs for an extra charge upon request.
Delivery Fee.
Delivery start from $60 for Melbourne Metro. We can quote on further locations, please get in touch.
Do you offer same day delivery?
I’m afraid not!
If there is no same day delivery, how far in advance is it to book a cake?!
Our diary is quite heavily booked due to a little menace called Covid so with wedding cakes we say at least 6 months before the event. All other custom cakes last at least a month unless the diary is a little quiet!
Minimum orders and Minimum spends!
We have a minimum spend of $250 for our cake range. For cupcakes and other treaties, our minimum order is two dozen.
Deposits and payments.
A 50% deposit is required to secure the date and booking and final payment is due 7 days before the event. Please note that all orders that are cancelled after a deposit has been paid will incur a $100 administration fee.
Cancellations and postponements.
We send out our cancellation and postponement terms before we receive your deposit.
What I've ordered looks a little different to the website image.
We endeavour to ensure all hampers and goodies are delivered are identical to what is advertised on our website. However, if a product is unavailable, a product of similar quality and value will be substituted. This policy applies so that we can ensure that the recipient receives the best of the best and we reserve the right to substitute goods of equal or greater value.
Due to movement during delivery the products in the hampers or goodie boxes may be repositioned. We do our best to ensure minimal movement with how we package our hampers and goodie boxes but sometimes things happen out of our control!
Can I pick up my order?
Yes, if you don't mind a drive to the very scenic picturesque Yarra Valley. We take no responsibility for cakes once they have been collected so we recommend driving slowly, don't take corners sharply and definitely don't break hard! Our cakes have dowel support on the inside and are very sturdy, we box the cake and then the cake box sits in another box! Cakes and boxes are best transported on a flat surface preferably the boot and absolutely a big NO NO to being held by anyone whilst driving!
Do you mail your sweet boxes, treaties and sample boxes?
Cakes and treaties are fragile little things so we prefer to have them hand-delivered! We use the freshest of ingredients and cakes and sweets don't like the heat they melt! We would rather our boxes arrive in one piece and everything intact!
Do you offer vegan and gluten free options?
We decided to take vegan goodies off the menu, we love our butter and eggs too much! We do have a selection of gluten free cakes and sweets which some say are just as good as the cakes full of all the gluten!
Do your cakes and treats contain nuts?
Quite a few of our cakes contain nuts! We're not a nut free kitchen so there could be sneaky traces of nuts!
How can we taste your cakes?
We offer sample boxes every quarterly and these are available to purchase via the website. Join our mailing list or instagram here for upcoming dates.
